If you are a lab-based scientist, experienced in a range of genomics techniques - then this is the opportunity for you!
The role will be undertaking Sanger Sequencing at the Cambridge laboratory. Postholder will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including extracting DNA, processing DNA samples for sequencing, data analysis, as well as participation in other research projects, possessing good interpersonal skills, meticulous record keeping and be conscientious and reliable in their approach to work.
Main reponsibilities:
• Work with in-house LIMS systems
• Extracting DNA
• Processing DNA samples for sequencing
• Machine maintenance
• Reagent validation
• Data analysis
• General lab duties
• Customer interaction
• Site/department cover where required
