Full Job Description
we are currently recruiting for a Data Entry Clerk II. This is and fulltime position (onsite) in Fawley. Successful candidate will be working on a temporary ongoing contract.
MAIN FUNCTIONS:
Enters and updates information into computer programs or databases.
Assesses files to determine what information needs to be entered
and the appropriate location for entry. Prepares source data for entry
by compiling and
sorting information and establishes entry
priorities. Follows verbal and written instructions. Maintains data
entry requirements by following data program
techniques and
procedures. Works with moderate work direction, and can identify
issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving. Able to manage,
train and mentor other office staff, lead projects, handle
confidential and sensitive data. Nature of the job is generally
creating rather than maintaining and developing rather than
monitoring.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Typing,
attention to detail, 10- key number entry performs well under pressure
and to strict deadlines * highly motivated person who is extremely
organised
* works well within a team and as an individual with
use of own initiative * accurate with good attention to detail *
strong organisation and communication skills.
SCOPE OF
WORK
* liaising with business teams to share data and make
improvements for best practice * managing monthly review schedules
identifying procedures requiring
review * updating procedures
electronically and transferring to GMOP, providing quality control to
ensure site standards are met * updating team sites,
producing
reports * ad hoc project work.
