Responsibilities

Data & Privacy Analyst

Full Time - 6 month Fixed Term Contract

Fully Remote - based anywhere in the UK

 

Join Our Team! We are seeking a self-motivated and energetic Data Privacy Professional with excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills to join our Data Privacy and Protection Team for a 6 month Fixed Term Contract.

 

This role can be based anywhere in the UK and would be fully remote.

 

Position Summary:

The candidate will focus on supporting day-to-day Data Protection Compliance work, including supporting the application of Privacy by Design and continuous improvement of compliances postures across the UK, Republic or Ireland and France.

 

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Coordinating with the wider Data Privacy & Protection Team and stakeholders in local business units
  • Supporting Data Protection Compliance work, such as maintaining the integrity of data and processes in PrivTech Tools
  • Managing and upkeeping Records of Processing Activities
  • Ensuring fulfilment of Data Subject Requests and meeting regulatory deadlines
  • Ensuring Consent compliance and maintaining records of consent
  • Supporting Data retention and deletion processes
  • Assisting with Data Mapping/Records of Processing assessments and  with PIA/DPIA assessments for Risk Management
  • Managing vendor risk assessment processes including the review of data processing agreements
  • Supporting International Data Transfer Assessments
  • Assisting in building a privacy-first culture and complying with privacy laws by training employees
  • Handling Personal Data Breach & Security Governance, Risk & Compliance, Security Incident Management, communication and coordination with the investigations team
  • Responding to ad-hoc queries from stakeholders across the business on any privacy related matters
  • Undertaking other projects or duties as assigned

  • 2 years of experience with GDPR and other related privacy laws
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation
  • Experience using project management tools or similar
