Our client is looking for an exceptional Data Protection expert based in London with flexible working to join their growing team and business. The successful candidate will perform a key role providing privacy support to the business and be an enthusiastic, astute, organised and commercially oriented.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the development of a fast-growing in-house function which is passionate about the growth and development of its team members. You will sit alongside the legal team. The ideal candidate for this role will develop an in depth understanding of the organisations dynamic business in market research and data insights.

Scope of the Role:

• Lead and advise on a number of privacy initiatives and policies.
• Undertake horizon scanning by analysing upcoming privacy risks to implement appropriate solutions.
• Address the evolving needs of a growing business and driving process simplification.
• Demonstrate privacy experience and propose solutions to manage privacy issues including collaborative engagement with subject matter experts and applying governance processes including briefing senior stakeholders.
• Self-manage workload and collaborate with the team.
• Work with the Privacy manager on training on risks and opportunities to internal clients related to their privacy strategy.

Do you have the following?

• A passion and dedication for all things privacy, with more than 2 years experience within data protection.
• Strong business acumen and ability to advise on business-related legal issues.
• A team player who thrives on collaborating with legal team members and clients.
