Role: Data Scientist
Salary: 40,000 - 50,000
Location: Manchester City Centre - Hybrid

We are partnered with a leading organisation in renewable energy who are seeking a Data Scientist. You will play your part in Britain's long term strategy to achieve net zero.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful patterns and trends.
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to optimize business processes and enhance performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
• Design and implement experiments to test hypotheses and evaluate model performance.
• Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through clear and compelling visualizations and presentations.

Key Skills:

• Proficiency in mathematics and statistics.
• Expertise in coding languages such as Python, R, for data manipulation, analysis, and modelling.
• Experience with machine learning techniques and libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) to build and deploy predictive models.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, ggplot2, Tableau) to create informative and engaging visualizations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically and creatively to tackle complex challenges.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
