Database Analyst

Rate: 400 - 500 per day (via Umbrella / Inside IR35 )

Duration: 6-Months initially

Location: mostly remote based (some travel will be required to Newcastle office).

Overview:

One of the largest digital banks in the UK is looking for an experienced Database Analyst. This contract role presents a unique opportunity to utilise your SQL Server skills in a progressive banking environment.

What you will be doing:

• Sustain and enhance the SQL server database atmosphere.

• Integrating SQL server database builds, patching and upgrades.

• Multiple tasks in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment.

• Employing the ITIL Service Management awareness in your everyday tasks.

What will need to have:

• • Experience with SQL Server database (versions 2019+).

  • Experience with SQL Server and Windows server patching.

  • Experience of PowerShell or scripting for automating tasks

  • Proficient knowledge of SQL Server architecture according to MS standards

  Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of ServiceNow and managing configuration items.

  • Demonstrable experience with TDE (Transparent Data Encryption).

  • Exposure within banking or Financial Services.

  • MCSE Certification for SQL Server Administration or equivalent is highly appreciated.
