Summary
YASA is looking for a Delivery Driver to assist our logistics teams with the movement of stock to relevant warehouse and supplier sites.
We are recruiting for our late shift and the working hours will be 1:30pm - 10pm Mon - Fri (times may vary slightly, depending on the route allocated).
- Assisting with packing and preparing goods for delivery.
- Assisting Stores and Supply Chain staff to organise the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse materials, goods and products to distribute within the business.
- Keeping the vehicle clean and in good condition.
- Ensuring that signs inside the vehicle are properly attached and in good condition.
- Undertaking a daily visual inspection/checking of tyres, lights, oil, water, and fuel.
- Reporting any necessary works to the Facilities Manager or Logistics NPI Manager.
- Running daily journeys between sites, to make sure motors are delivered on time and to project deadlines.
To succeed in this role, we believe you'll need:
- Previous proven experience working within a similar role.
- A clean UK driving license.
- The ability to work calmly under pressure.
- To be punctual, reliable, and a flexible approach to work.
- The ability to interpret and carry out verbal and written instructions.
- To be self-motivated with a flexible approach to work.
- The ability to work to deadlines.
