Delivery Lead

Full Job Description

Morgan McKinley is pleased to be assisting our client in their search for 2x delivery managers. The client are experts within the intermediary market specialising in Loans and Savings as well as buy to let mortgages. They have recently secured funding to grow rapidly and build new products within this space.

End-to-end delivery management from planning to execution.

Identify suitable delivery methods (Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid) for each initiative.

Collaborate with Product Owner and Business Analyst to define clear scope and prioritized requirements/user stories.

Ensure comprehensive stakeholder engagement and structured mobilization for each initiative.

Develop delivery estimates and plans, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.

Conduct delivery routines including backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Monitor costs, timescales, and resources, and ensure readiness before deployment.

Hand initiatives into BAU (Business as Usual) for benefits realization.

Stakeholder Management:

Ensure stakeholders (internal and external) understand their roles and responsibilities.

Facilitate collaboration between Technical and Product stakeholders.

Influence decision-making and modifications in response to external influences.

Engage and manage suppliers/partners when necessary.

Other:

Collaborate with the change team to refine delivery approach and toolsets.
