Deputy Ward Manager Position at Renowned Healthcare FacilityOur client is seeking an experienced nurse with a strong interest in mental health to fill the role of Deputy Ward Manager. Our client is a prominent provider of behavioural care and specialist support services in the UK. They operate a network of hospitals, residential care homes, and supported living services, with a focus on creating a meaningful and enduring impact on the individuals under their care.
As a Deputy Ward Manager, you'll:
- Provide senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team in support of the Ward Manager.
- Bring a degree of clinical experience and leadership that instils confidence in the nursing team and ward overall.
- Have defined delegated responsibilities from the ward manager, with protected time for deputy ward manager duties.
- Have supervisory responsibilities for an agreed group of staff.
As a Deputy Ward Manager, you'll receive:
- An annual salary of 41,475 - 44,648.
- A 5,000 welcome bonus.
- Full-time hours, 37.5 per week.
- The support of a world-class organisation committed to your development.
- Be a first level Registered Nurse (RMN).
- Have clinical supervision experience (training is desirable).
- Show evidence of CPD and intent to maintain and develop CPD and leadership.
- Have good computer skills.
- Have experience in Acute Mental Health.
- Have at least 3 years, or equivalent post-registration experience.
- Mentorship is desirable, however, training could be provided.
