Full Job Description

Key Tasks / Activities

• Carrying out legal analysis of issues and proposed transactions.
• Providing legal advice and legal risk assessment on issues relating to derivative transactions , principally credit linked derivatives, structured repo transactions, stock lending and prime brokerage.
• Related knowledge such as powers of attorney, non-disclosure agreements and taking security
• Close out transactions upon default and subsequent work on insolvency claim process
• Reviewing documentation for proposed transactions for legal risk.
• Negotiating documentation with counterparties.
• Instructing and managing external counsel.
• Where appropriate conducting or supervising litigation.
