Design Assurance Lead

Theale (Hybrid three days in the office) or Field based (2 days collaboration on client or supplier site)

We are currently looking for a Design Assurance Lead to join Engineering Team for a leading telecom infrastructure provider.

The Design assurance Lead will have the ability to generate ideas to increase design supplier productivity and improve design throughput whilst driving a cultural shift towards a "right first time" mentality. The role will also be responsible for, developing robust data and reporting systems, managing design approval systems, and fostering strong relationships with suppliers and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• To support and contribute actively to health and safety, environmental, business continuity and information security arrangements that meets our obligations to our customers
• Provide strong leadership to a team of project-based Design Delivery Managers.
• Set clear goals and expectations, and ensure the team is aligned with the overall business objectives.
• Possess a strong technical design background and a thorough understanding of mobile infrastructure project processes and delivery.
• Provide expert guidance and support to the delivery teams on technical design matters.
• Contribute to the organisation's digital transformation initiatives related to design delivery.
• Identify opportunities for leveraging technology and automation to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Actively seek opportunities to increase design productivity without compromising quality.
• Focus on meeting and exceeding SLAs. This entails contributing to delivering projects within defined timeframes and ensuring that design delivery milestones are achieved efficiently. You will closely monitor progress, proactively address bottlenecks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion.

What we are looking for?
* Leadership/management experience

• Telecom industry experience
  * Significant mobile infrastructure site design experience.
  * Track record of successful design delivery
  * HNC to degree level in design/engineering subject.
  * Accomplished communicator
  * CDM Regulations
