Responsibilities:

• Use 2D / 3D CAD systems to produce layout, assembly, and detailed manufacturing drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Provide technical support to customers and sales teams, offering valuable insights when visiting clients to help secure new business opportunities.
• Prepare concept design proposals to demonstrate the organisation's capabilities and win over potential clients.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional new product development team, contributing to all engineering tasks from concept to product launch.
• Conduct engineering studies to evaluate the technical feasibility of new concepts, offering valuable insights to optimise product performance.
• Generate bills of materials for both new configurations and new products, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes.
• Utilise CAD software to create data sheets, work instructions, and marketing literature, supporting marketing and sales initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• HNC or equivalent qualification in Engineering is essential.
• Previous experience within a design engineer role.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CAD software.
• Positive and professional demeanour with a strong commitment to timely project completion and attention to detail.

• Salary range of 35,000 - 38,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
• Mon-Thurs (8 am - 5 pm) and Fri (8 am - 1 pm) working hours.
