The strategically important Design Team Manager role comes with a salary of up to 45,000, pension and hybrid working.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the Team Director you will:

• Managing the Design Team resources across live design projects by implementing systems and tools to track utilisation and availability.
• Communicate resource utilisation trends and recommendations to the team Director.
• Maintain working design programs and provide regular progress reporting.
• Post project delivery evaluation and reporting identifying areas for improvement and developing more streamlined capabilities.

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• A higher diploma or bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Numerate and with an understanding building services and energy system designs.
• Experience of working in the renewables sector

Personal skills

The Design Team Manager role would suit someone who has:

• Excellent organisational, time management and planning.
• Understanding of Heat and Utility Networks is desirable.
• Fully IT proficient; Word, PowerPoint, Excel, email systems, etc. as a minimum.
• Competent in the use of MS Project, AutoCAD and Procore

Salary and benefits of the Design Team Manager role

• Salary of up to 45,000 DOE
• Discretionary bonus based on individual and business performance.
• Holidays 25 days a year plus statutory holidays - with an option to purchase, or sell, up to an additional 5 days per annual leave year.
