Role: Resistant Materials and Graphics DT Teacher

Location: Watford, Hertfordshire

Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and practical DT lessons in Resistant Materials and Graphics, fostering creativity and problem-solving skills among students.
• Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore design concepts and develop technical skills.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress through a variety of assessment methods and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the DT curriculum and contribute to school-wide initiatives related to design and technology education.

Requirements:

ü  Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

ü  Specialization or significant experience in Resistant Materials and Graphics within the field of Design Technology.

ü  Passion for design and technology education and a commitment to nurturing students' creativity and technical abilities.

ü  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

ü  Ability to inspire curiosity, innovation, and a passion for design and technology in students.
