Food Technology Teacher

Wigan

feb half term onwards

Are you a Qualified Teacher looking for your next teaching opportunity? Do you have experience teaching Design and Technology - any subject? Do you live in or near to Wigan?

Prospero Teaching are looking for Design and Technology Teachers to work in a across Wigan to start as soon as possible. It is essential that you are a Qualified Teacher/qualified to teach food technology to key stage 3 & 4 pupils.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location - Wigan
• Position - Design and Technology Teacher
• Start date - ASAP
• Full time
• Minimum rate of pay - 140 per day
• Hours - 8:20 am - 4:00pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, GTP, SCITT or equivalent
• Previous experience teaching in a UK school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide training)
• Up to date prevent Awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, we can provide training)
• Recent Food Technology UK teaching experience preferred

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide a minimum of two professional child related references
