The
role
Day to day, you’ll:
- Support the fixed look ahead planning process (4/6 or 12 week), ensuring viability of the Level 5/6 plan in line with the Level 4 schedule dates/budgets.
- Monitor and support of all work in progress using standard reports and KPI’s, ensuring the timely release of orders.
- Liaising with all business functions, attending relevant meetings, and undertaking spot checks on the ship
- Populate and manage IFS for relevant work.
- Produce and monitor KPI’s as well as supplying forecast and demand plans
- Raise and seek solutions to technical queries whilst utilising feedback systems
This
role is based onsite at Rosyth 5 days per week.
Essential experience of the Production Planner:
- Recent and relevant experience in a similar environment / business sector
- A background in a constructive trade would be an advantage
- Competent knowledge/application of ERP toolsets e.g IFS/SAP etc…
- Practised knowledge of estimating
- Scheduling experience will be advantageous
- Competent in MS Office
Qualifications for the Production Planner:
- ONC in a relevant construction trade as a minimum or equivalent working experience
- A professional qualification (e.g., APM/Acoste/RICS) (or equivalent) would be an advantage
