About the Role

We are looking for a brilliant Digital Account Director, to join us at MG OMD, a multiple award-winning media agency and Campaign’s 2022 Global Agency of the Year. The role is permanent and joining a close knit and collaborative team working across all media. 

You will work on the British Airways team who have been an MGOMD client for nearly 3 years. The role will be responsible for coordinating digital channel planning across some of British Airways’ most important briefs, including their year-round approach to demand conversion and their high-profile brand, premium and short haul activity.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, engaging, media expert with a strong experience in digital channels. The role will work as part of the client team and closely with the Head of Digital. A focus will be to drive and coordinate overall digital planning with the support of a large, wider team of digital specialists across Display and Social. The specialists’ teams work predominantly on activity targeted at UK audiences, but also place activity in key global markets to drive flight bookings from key markets such as the US, India and Europe.

About You

The successful candidate will have experience of working with clients and specialists on Dynamic Creative Optimisation and the ability to manage complex numbers of stakeholders to coordinate responses to briefs.

Key Skills

  • Experience in planning digital channels
  • Understanding of social and display best practice.
  • Work with key media owners and platforms with the digital and display market
  • In platform knowledge not essential but a real benefit in managing inputs from specialists’ teams.
  • Great interpersonal skills in managing client, creative agency, and 3rd party suppliers.
  • The ability to manage expectations upwards and outwards within the wider team during key projects (Sales periods, annual planning, quarterly planning).
  • A Proactive, inquisitive mindset focused on continually improving performance for the agency and client.
