About our Team
 

This team is responsible for the growth and expansion of a suite of motor data products with the goal of developing them into one cohesive portfolio.
 

About the Role
 

As Director of Product Management, you will lead on strategy and program execution, providing input to financial and strategic decisions. You will represent the product domain to stakeholders, driving program execution and propose new business or product strategies, and provide input "build vs. buy" decisions. You will have direct management responsibilities for product managers, including responsibility for recruitment and development.
 

Responsibilities

• Interacting with customers frequently to understand their use cases and business in great depth
• Managing your team, including interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; and giving appropriate feedback
• Balancing organizational needs with customer needs and creating a strategic plan for the organization
• Understanding competitors products and strategy, and how they influence customer decisions
• Developing clear go-to-market launch plans through coordinated development with external customer facing teams
• Defining, overseeing and articulating a clear product strategy and plan within a specific market or geography

Requirements

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to build relationships with customers and stakeholders
• Be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills when dealing with multiple priorities, with the ability to think analytically
• Be a natural problem solver, able to take a lead in collaborating to resolve issues
• Have experience in leading, mentoring or training others, acting as a subject matter expert to guide colleagues
• Be able to demonstrate a track record in driving valuable process improvement initiatives
• Demonstrate significant product development knowledge, including developing related business cases, content and product plans
• Have extensive experience in product management, from collaborative conceptualization to post-release management ideally within automotive data
