In Value Creation & Realisation we focus on the substantial Value Creation opportunities in the marketplace, together with our Transactions team, VC&R will help clients create more value from their deals and bring to life the New Equation, by delivering the sustained outcomes our clients are looking for. The VCR team will bring together Strategy& Deals, Operational Restructuring and Capital Projects.


About the team


Our procurement specialists work closely with our clients to develop sustainable solutions to free up cash from our client’s balance sheets. Our skills and knowledge are applied and gradually transferred to improve working capital management, leaving clients with sustainable performance improvement.

About the role


You will be working with clients on operational restructuring, cost reduction and working capital improvements, focused primarily on cost based transformation and sustainable performance improvement in the supply chain. We are looking to hire people from a Digital Procurement, Technology Procurement or Coupa background. 


Your work will be varied, though some typical work you’ll lead will be to:

  • Help clients develop and implement a transformation programme
  • Lead projects across multiple geographies, business lines and functions.
  • Help clients reduce costs quickly from their supply chains while optimising the effectiveness of their procurement/supply chain operations
  • Understand business processes around indirect cost management including Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, Purchase to Pay and Supplier Risk and Relationship management
  • Be a true leader, coach and mentor to your team; dedicated to building an inclusive and collaborative culture, encouraging open communication and continual development


Essential skills and experience

  • A breadth and depth of experience in leading cost-based transformation in procurement, specifically within a Digital Procurement, Technology Procurement or Coupa environment.
  • Well versed in leading projects to improve indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, category management procure to pay or general working capital optimisation
  • Coaching and developing teams will be second nature to you; you strive to get the best out of people
