Director of EPA

The Director of EPA is responsible for the overall management of the EPAO. The Director will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans, managing budgets, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program. The Director will also be responsible for representing the EPA program to external stakeholders, including government agencies, businesses, and the public.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Apprenticeships (either from an EPAO or Independent Training Provider/College background). The candidate will also have a proven track record of success in leading and managing complex organisations. The candidate must be able to work independently and relish a challenge underpinned by growth, demonstrating commercial astuteness and a commitment to quality. 

Responsibilities of the Director of EPA include:

• Developing and implementing strategic plans for the EPAO
• Managing budgets and financial resources and growth 
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the End Point Assessment
• Representing the EPAO to external stakeholders
• Providing leadership and direction to staff
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

The ideal candidate will have:

• A sound understanding and experience of the Apprenticeship sector 
• Proven track record of success in leading, growing and managing complex organisations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work under pressure
