Position Overview:


As a key member of our leadership team, reporting directly to Global Head of Strategic Partnerships , the EMEA Director of Strategic Partnerships will recruit and develop our London based team and oversee day-to-day management of activities related to Strategic Partnerships programs in the EMEA region. Responsible for identifying and developing new partners and managing existing partnerships. Monitor and execute program deliverables and identify new revenue opportunities for print, online and event activations. Works with Strategic Partnership Manager to generate revenue, track activities and create reports. Position involves management and coordination of team functions, competitive research, data analysis and expert sales skills.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:


TEAM BUILDING / STRATEGIC OUTLOOK / SALES ACTIVATION & RETENTION


  • Work with Head of SP to identify and recruit London based EMEA team consisting of Manager and Coordinator;
  • Identify industry and competitive trends in the EMEA region;
  • Develop strategy and lead expansion of SP activities in EMEA region;
  • Monitor SP EMEA group strategy, manage existing partnership and oversee/develop new revenue streams with potential partners, advertisers, and event sponsors;
  • Work with Manager, EMEA to coordinate strategic plans and manage program implementation including contract activation, campaign deliverables and fulfillment. Monitor status and develop reports to track progress and measure results;
  • Monitor EMEA team workflow and responsibilities related to implementation of partnerships, magazine, and event deliverables (i.e., signage, print, promotional, event elements, etc.);
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, charter, brokerage, and develop internal communications strategy to ensure all N&J departments understand SP strategy, partners, and benefits;
  • Maintain ongoing communication with US-based SP team and participate in weekly Global conference call;
  • Submit to Global Head of SP weekly report covering EMEA SP group activities and action plan;
  • Manage, coach, train, and mentor EMEA team to build strong team culture;
  • Local and international travel required.


Position Requirements:


  • College Degree (preferably in Marketing, Business or Management) or equivalent work experience;
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Sales, Marketing and/or with minimum 2 years spent in manager role;
  • Results driven, highly motivated team builder and leader;
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written;
  • Attention to detail, organized and able to manage multiple priorities and projects while working with diverse array of clients;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays;
  • Strong personnel management, communication, time management and organizational skills;
  • Proven ability to multi-task and manage projects on deadline;
  • Possess high level of discretion and professionalism.
