Disability Assesor

 

Starting Salary:  £ 35,000 after 6months this will then increase £36,000 after another 6months £37,000 + Bonuses
Location:  Homebased
Position:   Permanent – Full Time or Part Time available

Everpool Recruitment is currently recruiting  NMC / HCPC registered Nurses, Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist  - who would be interested in pursuing a challenging and rewarding career as a Disability Assessor .

Disability Assessor is a step away from the typical ‘ bedside ’ clinical role and involves no treatment, diagnosing, decision making or hands on care, however, you will still be using your clinical skills and knowledge, to interpret and analyse individual ’ s health information to complete in depth assessments, and writing accurate and detailed reports to assess their level of needs/functional abilities.


There are two options when undertaking the homebased assessor role, these are Back Office and Front Office – the placement in either of these roles depends on business needs .

Back Office - reviewing PIP cases and completing paper-based reviews (PBR ’

Front Office - completing telephone assessments with individuals with various physical, mental health and/or learning disabilities and then writing up a full report based on your findings.


A comprehensive onboarding / training program will be provided for both the front and back-office positions; which can be carried out fully remotely.

Essential Person Specification:

 

  • 12 months post-qualification experience as clinician.
  • Have an active registration with NMC/HCPC with no restrictions on practice.
  • Appropriate workspace within the home setting that allows you to successfully complete your role
