Extra Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Dispatch Team Leader for our clients based in Walsall. As a Dispatch Team Leader you will be responsible for over seeing the logistics team. The role of a Dispatch Team Leader requires strong leadership skills and a good understanding of logistics processes.

Dispatch Team Leader Responsibilities:

Conduct morning meetings with the team to ensure clear communication of targets and objectives.

Build and maintain direct relationships with customers and suppliers.

Collaborate with the H&S officer and committee to reduce risks in the area through effective risk assessments.

Ensure a safe working environment.

Supervision of all Forklift Operations.

Carry out full Investigations and provide clear accurate responses to Customer concerns.

Accountable for the accuracy of Inventory.

Regular communication with the Purchasing Team.

Responsible for cost effectively Booking and arranging transport.

Coordinate with other departments.

Dispatch Team Leader Details:

Salary: 27,000 - 30,000 PA

Location: Walsall

Duration: Permanent

Dispatch Team Leader Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar warehouse position

Identify training and coaching needs.

Manage processes

People management
