Drain Repair Engineer
Oxfordshire
Permanent - Full time - Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm
£16 - £18 per hour (£32,000 - £34,000p.a) + OT + bonus + benefits
The Client
We are currently working on behalf of a rapidly expanding, independent specialist with an impeccable reputation. The company is a specialist regional contractor across the drainage, environmental, rail, telecoms and traffic managements industries. They pride themselves on developing their employees and delivering excellent levels of customer service and client satisfaction.
The Role
They currently have a permanent requirement for a Drainage Engineer (Repairs) to work in a home-based role, ideally located in Oxfordshire or surrounding areas. In the Drain Repair Engineer role you will predominantly be site based undertaking all drainage jobs in commercial buildings whilst ensuring, where possible, that work is completed on the first visit. You will be able to confidently explain to customers what work you need to carry out ensuring you leave them with peace of mind.
* Working hours are Mon - Fri 8am - 4.30pm (over time thereafter at time and a half) 40 hours contracted week
* On-call rota is 1 weekend in 5
* Time and a half is paid for Saturday working and double time for Sunday working
Experience Required
Essential
* CCTV (labelling and recording)
* CAT Scanning in order to identify buried services.
* CAT Scanning to trace/locate the drainage system using camera sonde.
* Open cut pipework replacement in excavations
* Patch Repair experience
* Relining experience
* Reinstatement of various different domestic surface types (paving slabs, block paving, cold lay tarmac, concreting etc.)
* Excellent standard of customer care.
* Problem solving approach to repairs.
* In date Industry related tickets would be a huge advantage
Desirable
* Re-Rounding experience
* High Pressure Water Jetting (van pack)
* Use of 360 Excavators (1.5T, 3T, 5T)
