Driver & Warehouse worker- Bilingual

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Driver cum Warehouse worker to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various tasks within our warehouse, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of goods and materials. This role requires someone who is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Job Duties:

• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team  members and other departments in both English and Spanish to ensure smooth      operation of warehouse activities.
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Operate vehicles in compliance with company, Federal, State and local laws with regards to run times and Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Regulations.
• Loading, offloading, and making scheduled deliveries of freight to customers.
• Maintain a good image of the company through professional driving, ensuring safety and reliability.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

Skills and Qualifications:

Supervision, Safety Management, Developing Standards, Managing Processes, Surveillance Skills, Inventory Control, Reporting Skills, and Equipment Maintenance, Customer service.

• Must Have a valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in a warehouse setting; previous experience in a  similar role preferred.
• Must be able to lift at ease 100 pounds.
• Valid DOT card (preferred)
• Fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
