Do you want full autonomy to support parents in accordance with SEN laws to gain successful outcomes for children with SEND?

We have a really unique opportunity to change the lives of children with special educational needs, and if you answered yes to the above it sounds like we have just the job for you!

A local organisation who is entirely dedicated to supporting parents and carers of children with SEND is recruiting EHCP Support Workers in Derby, to support those who are entering into (or currently within) the EHCP process.

You will use your knowledge and experience to fully support families from start to finish within the process that can be very challenging for children, young people and their families.

Working with local authorities to develop suitable outcomes for children and young people.

The role is flexible, and you have a certain level of autonomy in your diary management. You will book your appointments, managing your cases with trust and transparency at all times.

Essential Criteria

• You must be understanding, empathetic and always ready to listen
  
• You must have a special interest in SEND (be that professional or personal)
  
• You must have experience in the EHCP process in a professional capacity
  
• You must be suitably qualified, either by way of Independent Support qualifications (such as IPSEA) or legally qualified (although you do not need to be a qualified solicitor)
  
• Experience of SEND tribunals
