Responsible for
leadership and line management of microbiology testing services
account managers plus supporting admin functions in various European
locations
Identifying and winning new business through account
management and prospecting. Drive sales through the creation of
strategies to support the wider STERIS sales team.
Develop a
knowledge and understanding of trends in medical device,
pharmaceutical and diagnostic industries and buying/sourcing practices
of our current and potential Customers.
Responsible for the
assessment of test requirements, methods, Customer specifications and
information supplied in conjunction with other team members to ensure
that every Customer project is managed and delivered successfully
(role is technical sale based).
Support the Commercial Director
in the effective running of the team and support with activities such
as budgeting and forecasting.
As our Sales Manager - Micro Services EMEA the duties of your roles include:
•
Leadership and line management of micro testing account managers and
admin support.
• Support commercial director with identifying
trends in current testing and future testing requirements
•
Provide monthly KPI reports
• Support site senior management
teams with Customer and team issues
• Support business growth
through strategic account management and the strategy
development.
• Identify and win new business within your region
or a predefined set of criteria.
• Create long lasting
partnerships with the wider sales teams to promote the whole STERIS
service offering.
• Understand Customers’ requirements and
devise and articulate the most appropriate solutions.
• Meet
with existing Customers and potential Customers to create further
awareness of the STERIS service offering.
• Utilise
Salesconnection CRM system to track opportunities.
• Supports
the STERIS team with problem solving and training activities.
•
Liaise with other divisions to help create continuous improvement
opportunities.
• Support marketing and outreach programs.
•
Keep familiar with current industry standards and requirements (e.g.
ISO 11137 and ISO11135)
•
Minimum of 3 years technical sales experience.
• Degree level
or equivalent in relevant subject or demonstrable relevant business
experience of a minimum of 6 years in a technical sales role.
•
Ability to influence across functions across STERIS and across
companies to achieve objective.
• Must be able to network
internally across all functions and externally with Customer
organisations and other service providers.
• Capable of
contributing to the strategic direction of the business and able to
work with counterparts within STERIS globally to achieve business
objectives.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to
project manage.
