Full Job Description

NCFE is committed to developing our colleagues through our  Vision for our People  and so we’re excited to be able to offer an apprenticeship opportunity, allowing you to work within our  End Point Assessment   team whilst studying towards a Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship.

 

The purpose of End Point Assessment is to deliver positive, fair and rigorous End Point Assessments to apprentices across England whilst upholding compliance with regulatory requirements. The NCFE EPA team is responsible for managing and maintaining the integrity of End Point Assessment and providing positive experiences to the recipients of this service.  In this apprenticeship you’ll learn how to support, engage and interact with internal and external customers. You will also develop your IT skills, project management skills ,communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Your apprenticeship training will take place over  18 months  and will include both on and off the job learning. In a typical week you’ll spend 20% of your time on off-the-job training which can include shadowing, online learning, and self-directed learning. You’ll also receive support from a mentor who will monitor your training progress.

 

How you’ll make an impact:

  •  Providing a high level of support and service over the phone, email from customers and learners
  • Working with our processes, systems and products and keep industry knowledge updated to get it ‘right first time’ and positively represent and promote the business
  • Ensuring compliance of data protection procedures and maintain these standards when interacting with both customers and third parties
  • Identifying leads and business opportunities, forwarding them to the Business Development Team where appropriate or owning them through to completion in line with the individual targets
  • Maintaining a personal development plan highlighting what you will focus upon, how you will achieve your objectives and what support is needed. There will be an opportunity to complete a Business Administrator apprenticeship.

We’d love to hear from you if you offer the following: 

  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Experience of working within a customer service role, via telephone and email
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including good grammar and spelling
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrable skills and good knowledge of MS office or similar IT systems
  • Ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to manage a high-volume workload and accurately prioritise tasks
  •   A commitment to effectively managing your time between working and studying.
