Do you want to join our team as we build this new nursery setting at Wheatfield Primary School?

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and positive class-based EYFS Level 3 Practitioner, to support children in our new Nursery.

Your opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity to help set up and grow our new Nursery setting. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a EYFS Level 3 Practitioner. They will join a very hard working and dedicated team of teachers and support staff at Wheatfield, who focus on improving outcomes for the pupils in their care. 

About Wheatfield Primary School

Wheatfield Primary School continues to be a good school rated by OFSTED in a recent inspection. Wheatfield Primary School is a one-form entry, in Wokingham . We are located in an exceptionally well-resourced building, purpose built for children aged 2 to 11 years. We pride ourselves in being a small school where all children are known, valued and have their individual needs recognised and met. We grow and learn together each year and our children are integral to the development of the school, its curriculum and the learning environment.

Our School sits within a newly established cluster of Primary schools, overseen by a Regional Director. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues across this cluster, to share expertise and experience, ensuring all children in our schools receive an excellent education and reach their potential. It also provides opportunities for career progression across the cluster and gives you the chance to further your professional development.

We anticipate that there will be opportunities within the GLF cluster with the Nursery Strategy to move forward, in addition, there will also be opportunities to work towards a Level 5 qualification and beyond with the teacher training program at GLF.

  • An individual with a Level 3 qualification and recent relevant Nursery experience
  • Someone with high expectations who is committed to raising the achievement of all children
  • The ability to use a variety of strategies to engage and support children in their learning
  • A collaborative professional with the ability to contribute to provision planning

The Details:

Start date: June/July 2024

Contract type: Permanent / Term time / Full time (36 hours) Part time considered

Pay Scale: £19,771 actual (Associate Staff 3.1 - £22,982 FTE)
