Job Role : Early Years Foundation Stage teacher
Pay Rate : £30,000 per annum
Location:  Kensington 

The School: 

Is a beautiful well-known School in Kensington. The school is a bilingual school with students that learn in both English and Italian. The current headteacher has a passion for education and believes that the smaller class size, allows for greater learning. She also finds importance in providing activities that are designed to allow the pupils to try new things and learn new skills both inside and outside the classroom. She is hoping to find a passionate, experienced teacher to join the team from September.

Expectations of the role:

• Have high expectations of the children they are teaching 
• Plan/teach lessons that inspire, challenge, and motivate students to learn 
• Promote and be accountable for positive outcomes of students' learning
• Take responsibility for the class' registration 
• Able to manage behavior positively and effectively, to ensure a positive/safe learning environment for all students
• Plan, prepare and hold an after-school club for at least two of the three terms within the school year. 
• Prepare class Assemblies once a term
• Provide information, advice and guidance to the children and their parents/carers on educational, emotional, behavioural and social matters  
• Participate in general and department meetings and INSET sessions which relate to the curriculum, administration or organisation of the school, and on occasion, lead staff INSET linked to an area of expertise, training, or initiative
• To send the previous week’s planning to the relevant member of SLT by the end of Monday

Requirements:

• Primary Education Degree (MUST HAVE)
• Experience working with year Early Years (MUST HAVE) 
• Enhanced DBS (MUST HAVE)
• Speak Italian & English fluently (MUST HAVE)
