About the Role

We believe that everyone should be able to access the information that we share and are striving to improve it's accessibility for children and young people with special educational needs and their families.   We are developing the use of Easy Read documents as well as those which are 'easier to read'.  

 

You will, primarily, be responsible for converting a wide range of documents (electronic and written) into Easy Read formats as well as 'easier to read'.  Specific training will be available on the Easy Read format and there will be close liaison with colleagues with expertise in communications.  

 

This position will be subject to an enhanced criminal record disclosure check.

 

Whilst the location/work-base for this role may have been specified our evolving ways of working means that the role may require you to also work remotely (e.g., from home/other locations). We will discuss this with you during the recruitment process.
