Education Recruitment Resourcer/Trainee Consultant

Would you like to use your understanding of primary education to build a career in recruitment?

Based in Hoddesdon, we are a specialist primary employment business now in our 12th year. We are a small, but reputable, business contracted to Hertfordshire and support just primary schools and primary staff.

Responsibility and Duties:

  • Full-time role to start asap. This is a full-time role, 40 hours a week on a flexible working pattern
  • Your role will be to source and contact primary school staff through various marketing methods
  • Screen CVs & identify relevant skills to match vacancies
  • Arrange & conduct registration interviews
  • Format & prepare CVs for clients
  • Help maintain our CV tracker database
  • Filling client booking requests in line with our contractual obligations.

This role is varied and fast-paced and the ideal person would be:

  • Confident to speak face-to-face and on the phone to a range of potential candidates
  • Have the ability to multitask
  • Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Self-motivated, tenacious and resilient
  • Have good questioning and listening skills, and be an excellent conversationalist 
  • Share in our ethos and commitment to excellent customer service and social value

Experience is not essential for this role, as full training will be given. However, you would offer:

  • A good understanding of primary education with experience working in primary schools
  • Excellent standard of written and spoken English
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly

This is a full-time role, 40 hours a week on a flexible working pattern.
