Full Job Description

Our client is a successful and highly reputable manufacturer.  They are looking for an Electrical Assembler to join their team on a temporary basis (up to 6 months).  They are looking for people with electrical experience that are used to working with hand and power tools, and that can follow diagrams / instructions / schematics with precision. 

It would be ideal if you have electrical experience within the automotive industry, however this is not essential.  e.g. Dealing with vehicles like; Coaches / Trucks / Buses / HGV / LGV / PSV / Motorhomes / Emergency / Military vehicles / Cars / Lorries). 

This role would suit someone with experience in Electrical Assembly, previous job titles include; Electrical Assembler / Electrical Assembly Operative / Electrician / Electrical Engineer / Electrical Technician / Vehicle Assembler (Electrics) / Auto Engineer / Coach Builder / Auto Electrician / etc.

NOTE: This is a temporary contract for a maximum of 6 months.

Salary £12.82 per hour.

Hours of work: 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Thursday 6.00am – 2.30pm, Friday 6.00am – 11.30am.

General Duties (dependent on job role):

•    Electrical assembly and wiring of vehicles by following technical instructions, diagrams, schematics
•    Use of hand tools and power tools
•    Crimping, wiring, and possibly soldering
•    Ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard
•    Working within the health & safety guidelines
•    Working in line with Company standards and H&S requirements

Requirements:

•    Previous experience in electrical assembly (experience in an automotive manufacturing related role would be favoured, but not essential) 
•    Experience using hand tools and power tools
•    Reliable and hard-working
•    Have an eye for detail, and the ability to do a consistent, quality job
