A successful nationwide MEP consultant, with a UK wide presence and an international office, are looking for a Electrical Design Engineer for a role in Stretford to work on a large variety of projects in the UK. The focus of your work will be on the Healthcare sector working on a selection of new builds and refurbishment and working extensively on modern methods of construction including modular offsite installations.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with a real passion for MEP Engineering and Building Services design who is keen to make a difference to an organisation and to the Healthcare infrastructure in the country. The work that you will produce will be varied, and whilst not being totally limited to Healthcare, it will be a majority of the workload. You will be looking at everything within a Hospital, including but not limited to, operating theatres, day case centres, reception and office areas, laboratories, wards and outpatient areas.

You will need to be working as a Electrical Design Engineer within a Building Services Environment, working across the design of all applications to CIBSE and HTM guidelines. You need to have knowledge of BS7671 and other associated guidelines that you will of obtained in a similar role that does not have to of been within a Healthcare environment. You will also need to show that you are capable of working within an Electrical and Mechanical Engineering team and more broadly within a Building Services and multi-disciplinary environment and have gained the relevant experience that would have been typically gained over a 3 year period in a similar organisation and role.

It is essential for this opportunity that you are educated to degree level as a minimum in Electrical or Building Services Engineering, preferably holding a BEng or Master's degree qualification. Experience within the sector is a requirement for this role in a very similar position.
