Merseyside
Up to 37,775 p/a
Full-time, permanent

We are working with an education provider in the Merseyside area who are looking for a Electrical Engineering Lecturer to join their team.

The role is a permanent full-time role, and you would be based at the education provider's centre in the Merseyside area, where you would be asked to deliver on Electrical Engineering courses (up to level 3). You will deliver predominantly to talented and motivated groups of level 3 apprentices from a wide range of large employers in a practical, hands-on setting. The role will involve teaching Electrical Engineering VRQ and NVQ qualifications to students up to Level 3. This will include the delivery of some sessions within a workshop environment to advanced apprentices and full-time college students.

If you have practical industrial experience, particularly in control engineering and electrical maintenance and are ready to pass on your skills, knowledge, and expertise to the next generation of Electrical Engineers then this could be the ideal position for you. You may be an experienced lecturer or an engineer looking for an opportunity to develop and train the next generation of engineers.

The starting salary for this position is up to 37,775 per annum, and the package also includes a teacher's pension (with employer contributions of 23.4%), and a generous 40 days paid holiday (plus statutory holidays such as Bank Holidays).

To be eligible for the position, you MUST have:
-A level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification
-Good knowledge and experience of Electrical Engineering

Please note that the education provider would be willing to put you through and pay for a teaching qualification on the job if you do not have one already.

I am looking to set up interviews as soon as possible, so if you are interested and available for interview, please reply with your CV and daytime contact number and I'll get back to you, or you can always call me on (phone number removed).

Please feel free to pass on my details if you know someone who might be interested.
