Our client, one of the Scotland’s premier manufacturers of food products is looking for an experienced, professional Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work within their manufacturing facility in the Glasgow area. The key to this role is ability to work within a fast-moving production and manufacturing company within the food production industry maintaining and fault finding on a range of electrical systems, drives, motors, controls, AC/DC, Single and 3 Phase, Panels and PLC’s.The Role
This role is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Electrical/Mechanical equipment within our client’s facility. Knowledge of 3 phase electrical equipment, drives, motors, invertors, sensors, control panels and PLC’s is required. The role requires applicants who has reactive and proactive maintenance and repair experience as well as fault finding experience of mechanical systems.
The Person
Applicants will preferably have present or previous Electrical/Mechanical maintenance and repair experience. Applicant with PLC fault finding experience would be ideal (does not need to program). Applicants should be 16th /17th/ 18th edition qualified; the role requires applicants to work on an early and back shift rotation covering 5 days of 7.
