Purpose of the Role:

TEXO Recruitment are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join a multimillion-pound, well-established employer who are specialists in the energy sector and provide first-class handling services.

Area(s) of Responsibility:
You will be responsible for carrying out Electrical Engineering Maintenance work on all Electrical Services, Systems, Plant and Equipment (Planned and Breakdown), in addition to Electrical Installation works in accordance with current regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• This is predominantly a day shift position; however, you will be required to work shifts and weekends when necessary.
• Overtime will also be required to cover the needs of the business.
• Due to the nature of the business, you will need to be flexible with a can do attitude.
• You will also be required to assist with the loading/unloading of cargos. Therefore, the successful candidates will be required to learn all aspects of Stevedoring including operating plant & equipment where required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

• This client has an array of cargo handling equipment that includes FLT, Cranes & Heavy Plant; experience of working with these types of equipment both mechanically and electrically would be an advantage.
• This client is located across four sites, so a full driving license is essential.
• 18th Edition Regs BS7671
• Electrical NVQ / HNC
