Electroplating Plant Operative

Full Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Plant Operative responsible for overseeing and maintaining the electroplating process of Chrome and Nickle finished products. You will be instrumental in supportingour clients electroplating process toachievetheirdaily productionobjectives.

This permanent role involves working alone although supervised to ensureall daily targets are completed effectively and safely.

Hours-
Monday -Thursday - 6:00am - 2:30pm
Friday - 6:00am - 11:00am
Pay -
15.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities and Experience -

• Experience of operating and performing electroplating processes
• Prepare electroplating plant machinery
• Operating semi - automated plant machinery
• Prepare and maintain electroplating process methods
• Prepare and maintain electroplating solution tanks
• Adhere to waste regulations, effluent recycle process and waste disposal procedures
• Manage production cycle, including time frames and daily batch processes

Skills & Experience required :

• Operational electroplating processes
• Ph level testing and reporting
• Effluent and waste product practices
• Attention to detail, Q.C checks (visual)
• Documentation reporting and completion
• Process method analysis and reporting
• Maintaining process solution stock levels and reordering
• Manual dexterity to achieve and report daily production targets.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Reporting and communicating within your department.
