Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) to join our healthcare team. As an ENP, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients in emergency and urgent care settings. Your role will include assessing, diagnosing, and treating acute illnesses and injuries, as well as educating patients on preventive healthcare practices. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and physical examinations in emergency settings
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work and imaging studies, to determine the best course of treatment
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, injuries, and infections
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs, medical guidelines, and urgent care protocols
  • Prescribe medications and monitor patient response to treatment
  • Provide counseling and education to patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care in the emergency department
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including electronic medical documentation

Requirements:

  • Valid registration and licensure as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner in the United Kingdom
  • Certification as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner or in a relevant specialty
  • Proven experience as an Emergency Nurse Practitioner preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills in emergency care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in high-pressure situations
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and other healthcare technology
