Full Job Description

TeacherActive is working with a well-known college in the North Cambridge area. The college has a ‘good’ OFSTED rating and boasts a 95% success rate of students that go forward into education or further studies. They work closely with 1,500 employers all over the country and abroad which adds to the many career opportunities available for learners at the college.

The college is looking for an Employability Trainer to join their diverse team of educators. They will play a crucial role in empowering our students to develop the skills and confidence necessary to excel in the workplace. They will have the opportunity to work both on-site and offsite within the community, fostering valuable connections with our referral partners. The Employability Trainer will be capable of helping learners progress their career journey by using a mix of industry knowledge. 

Successful Employability Trainer will have:

• Grade C / 4 in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
• PTLLS or other relevant teaching qualification
• Previous experience teaching in the employability sector
• Previous experience within the construction industry
