Full Job Description

This is a hybrid role normally 1 day per week in the office, (Birmingham) with flexible working available. We are looking for an Employee Relations Advisor to join our team of talented, solution focussed and driven employee relations specialists.


Our purpose is to support our managers to make Mitie a great place to work. We advise and coach managers in their management of ER cases, upholding fair and just policies in-line with legislation and best practice whilst balancing risk and commerciality to deliver the best results for our business.


The ideal candidate should have strong employee relations knowledge and experience of coaching managers across a diverse business.


Main duties include providing pragmatic case management support and advice on complex employee relations issues, using your knowledge in ER and employment law. Collaborating with the business, building relationships with the wider HR Team with exposure to a wide variety of contracts across many sectors, including both public and private. We are looking for a curious thinker with strong attention to detail and customer service skills.
