Full Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

As a member of Corporate Employee Digital & Service Experience Team, you will be supporting all aspects of operational processes behind the employment life cycle for JPMorgan employees, and will align under the U.K Right to Work team. You will work closely in partnership with the Firm’s external immigration consultants.

To work as part of a busy operations team, executing the JPMC’s U.K employer requirement to carry out Right to Work verifications for all U.K and Ireland based employees, both at the new hire stage and ongoing visa expiry tracking and renewal. You will also be responsible for ensuring continuing compliance to Home Office regulations throughout the employee lifecycle and closely monitor any reportable changes such as job change, transfers etc. You should be confident in a frontline facing role with strong attention to detail.

  • Partner closely and build strong relationships with our external immigration consultants as well as other key internal stake holder teams (Graduate team, Onboarding and recruitment teams for new hires etc).
  • Support the UK Right To Work team’s remit in ensuring all new hires have evidenced compliance prior to employment start date.
  • Accurately facilitate timely capture of visa data into core systems and reconcile to the Firm’s immigration consultants.
  • Process standard immigration reference letters and review draft certificate of sponsorship documents.
  • Generate reporting to monitor job data changes for firm-sponsored visa holders and report those changes to the Home Office within the regulatory deadlines.
  • Robustly track the portfolio of UK and Ireland employees holding a work permit or visa, for expiries and participate in the renewals process ensuring that end to end controls are adhered to avoiding visa expiration.
  • Participate in daily monitoring of the team mailbox, responding to queries from both employees, their Managers and other internal stakeholder teams.
  • Excellent data manipulation skills using Microsoft Excel is essential (VLookUp etc).
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
  • A commitment to learning and maintaining an ongoing proficient understanding of U.K immigration regulations relevant to the Right To Work employer requirement
  • Strong team player with ability to integrate and add value quickly.
  • Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to confidently interact with internal clients at all levels of the organisation.
  • Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Prior experience and knowledge of U.K Immigration regulations an advantage but not essential if willing to commit to learning and upskilling quickly to SME level.
