Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for
an Endpoint Systems Administrator to work as part of the wider
Infrastructure Team within the Technology division within IT Services
for a large education establishment.
You will provide
technical skills and knowledge to support management of a large and
complex managed desktop estate, including an extensive array of
applications supporting teaching, research, and professional services
functions. You will work collaboratively with colleagues in other
Infrastructure teams, as well as the internal teams within ITS to
ensure that the managed estate is secure, compliant and
fit-for-purpose.
You will play a critical role in installing,
managing, controlling, deploying, and maintaining the desktop
infrastructure systems and applications that meet operational needs
and service levels. You will have experience with desktop
administration and management within a large and complex organisation,
be highly knowledgeable about application packaging and delivery in
both a Windows and MacOS environment and have experience of scripting,
automation, SCCM, Group Policy, endpoint protection and patching.
