Energy Compliance Officer, Electronic Trading - VP / Director

Full Job Description

Our client is a market leading global electronic trading and financial services firm. They are seeking a Compliance Officer (VP - SVP level) in London to work within a flat structure and take the lead on their rapidly growing energy trading businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

· Advise on compliance requirements for new initiatives.

· Being the main point of contact for trade-related queries, strategies and new technology developed for trading and research.

· Develop, implement and monitor policies, procedures and internal controls.

· Contributing to specific market abuse risk assessments

Experience Requirements:

· Strong experience in advising businesses on energy markets compliance.

· Strong UK and EU knowledge of regulations impacting physical gas.

· Understanding of electronic trading and physical power markets also very useful.
