Energy Consulting Manager
Salary: Competitive salary
plus company car or car allowance, annual performance bonus, private

Hours:
Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: UK home-based with
national travel

What you'll be doing;
- Developing Building Energy Services low carbon solutions
to meet customer requirements for sustainability, resilience,
innovation, performance and optimised life cycle cost.
- Designing decarbonisation solutions across our customers and
leading the development and promotion of new innovative and
commercially attractive service offerings to support growth.
- Leading a team of energy design engineers and consultants to
support business development, design and implementation of low carbon
building solutions, energy audits, decarbonisation strategies and heat
decarbonisation plans.
- Be responsible for the
development of a 3m revenue pipeline for the team and appropriately
develop the team to deliver this pipeline.
- Providing
leadership, business strategy and overall management of the energy
consultants and its functions and activities.
- Coordinating bid development activities that focus on the
delivery of low carbon strategies, building energy solutions and other
consultancy type outputs.
- Leading and attending key
client meetings to co-design energy solutions in line with their
sustainability, resilience, performance and life cycle drivers.
- Preparing project briefs and seeking internal approval,
considering capex, programme, resource, procurement strategy, risks
identification and mitigation.
- Managing existing
sub-contractors and identifying new sub-contractors ensuring they
represent Veolia positively and provide compliant and high-quality
customer service.
What
we're looking for;
- A qualified
engineer with robust experience of the energy industry.
- Good understanding of Low Carbon Building Energy
Solutions.
- Ability to articulate complex design concepts
to non-technical audience.
- Experienced Project Manager
with excellent resource planning skills and capability of leading the
development and negotiation of contract terms.
- Commercially astute with experience of costing models.
- A creative, solution oriented thinker with Technical
Optioneering experience in a client facing capacity.
- Proficient with Building energy modelling tools such as
EnergyPro.
- Proficient with Microsoft/Google
spreadsheets, documents, Gantt charts, presentations
- A
capable relationship builder with good meeting facilitation
techniques.
- Ability to quickly identify technological
solutions and commercial approaches to assist in the development of
industrial solutions.
