Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor

Location: Pangbourne, Reading

Salary: Up to 48,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety standards. This role offers a competitive salary of up to 48,000 per annum, along with a range of attractive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise mechanical maintenance activities, including repairs, installations, and inspections.
• Manage a team of mechanical technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimise equipment performance and minimise downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments to identify maintenance needs and prioritise tasks.
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment, including pumps, conveyors, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and manuals.
• Relevant technical qualifications or certifications.
