Randstad is partnered exclusively with the Empower Learning Academy Trust for all recruitment needs. We are currently recruiting for an English Teacher to join Bower Park Academy from September on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver English lessons for KS3 and KS4 children
• Ensure high standards of behaviour
• Provide appropriate levels of challenge so that students to learn effectively and acquire new skills and knowledge
• Support children's understanding by differentiating work appropriately
• Liaise with the Head of Department (HOD) and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in regards to student wellbeing and achievement
• A proven track record of recent and successful class teaching in an 11-16 school
• Attend staff training sessions and meetings

To be successful you will have:

• QTS - essential
• Experience teaching English in KS3 and KS4
• Strong behaviour management
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (we can help with this)
