Environmental Advisor - Anglian Water Framework

Are you an experienced Environmental Advisor seeking your next challenge in the water industry? Our client, a leading organization within the water sector, is looking for a talented individual to join their team as an Environmental Advisor based in Peterborough on the Anglian Water framework.

Role Overview: Reporting directly to the Environmental Manager, you'll play a crucial role in supporting project teams throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-construction to on-site stages. Your expertise will ensure ethical practices and compliance with environmental regulations, contributing to the success of multiple projects within the framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Environmental Management System (EMS) requirements
  • Consult with environmental regulators and stakeholders to address project constraints
  • Provide environmental advice and document environmental risks and control measures during pre-construction meetings
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits on construction sites to ensure compliance with legislation and internal requirements
  • Support Partner Organisations in achieving environmental goals and sustainability objectives
  • Contribute to incident investigation and reporting, as well as environmental training delivery
  • Provide timely performance reporting to support decision making

About You: As a seasoned Environmental Advisor, you'll bring a wealth of experience providing on-site environmental support and a deep understanding of environmental issues and legislation.
