Environmental Consultant - Remote

Full Job Description

My client, a market leading, UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for an Environmental Consultant to join their Team of Engineers and Consultants based remotely across the UK.

Applicants are required to have a BSc or MSc in a related discipline including Geography, Environmental Science or Environmental Management and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing or co-coordinating ES Statements for water resources or groundwater and/or co-ordinating Environmental Impact Assessments.

Candidates are required to have a keen interest in EIA Scoping and EIA Screening.

As an Environmental Consultant you will have the opportunity to work on varied projects for Local Authorities, Water Companies, Private Sector Clients and Housing Developers. This role is a home based opportunity, offering flexible and reduced hours.

Candidates will be required to complete;

-Co-ordinate Environmental Impact Assessments and complete Environmental Statements for water resources and groundwater.

-EIA Screening and EIA Scoping.

-EIA project management including managing and tracking project development with assistance from Senior team members.

-Client meetings to discuss the development of the project.

-Frequent meetings with Clients to discuss project development.
