Full Job Description

Salary: £36,524 - £41,792 per annum

Grade E

12 month Fixed Term Contract/Secondment Opportunity 

37 hours per week

The post will be working within the Private Housing and Well Homes Team, to carry out property inspections, case work investigations and enforcement action to drive-up housing conditions in the private sector. 

The Well Homes Team works alongside the Private Housing Team to provide resettlement support to refugees who have made Thurrock their home.

Duties include but are not confined to:

• Working under the Homes for Ukraine Scheme
• Knowledge of Environmental legislation and its application 
• Ability to produce written inspection reports, and schedule of works.
• Maintaining accurate records
• Working in partnership with landlords, letting agents and private rented tenants to find solutions to their service requests.
